2010 Farm Market Season News
We are pleased to announce that the Tarentum Farmers Market is moving to a new day and location, which will enhance convenience, accessibility and visibility.
Previously held on Mondays in the parking lot of JGs Tarentum Station Grille, this year's market will move to Wednesday mornings, beginning on June 16th, in the parking lot of First United Presbyterian Church, 10th Avenue & Lock Street.
This location provides an adjacent parking lot and is located just one block from Tarentum Bridge Road, one of most travelled roads in the community.
The changes were made in response to concerns about limited parking from both shoppers and business owners in downtown Tarentum.
The new location also puts the market in walking distance to hundreds of residential homes and will be highly visible to 10th Avenue travelers.

Market Gearing Up
Within the next few weeks, four additional vendors will be joining the market and bringing vegetables, berries and fruit, dependent on the cooperation of Mother Nature. In the meantime, there's a wonderful selection of products from our six vendors, including fresh baked breads, organic meats, pierogie, herbs, strawberries, baked goods and lettuces. And we have the growing selection of produce to look forward to as we move closer to July. See you on Monday at the market!

Please stop by on Monday to help us kick off this year's market and enjoy locally produced honey, organic meats, pierogies, fresh baked goods and a wide variety of locally grown fruits, vegetables, flowers and herbs.
