2013 Season Starts June 12th
Returning for its sixth season, the Tarentum Farmer's Market will open at 9 a.m. on June 12th at the corner of Lock Street and 10th Avenues, across from Dunkin Donuts.
Eight vendors will be on hand each week, including a provider of locally raised chicken, beef and eggs. Other available items include fresh produce, fresh flowers, baked goods, prepared foods and guest food truck vendors throughout the summer.
On June 12th, joining the Pittsburgh Pierogi truck will be a truck from Bloomfield-based Fakuda, which will offer a variety of Japanese street food.
The market will open at 9 a.m. and run through 1 p.m. each Wednesday through October.
